The 2010 Election is Over

But Staying Informed Isn't

Jobs and the North Bay's future depend on your vote

About Us

North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project (NBJPP) seeks to increase civic and economic vitality by assisting employers to encourage their employees to:

  • Black-Red_CheckRegister to Vote
  • Black-Red_CheckBe Informed
  • Black-Red_CheckVote on or before Election Day!

The project will begin by fostering communications between Sonoma County employers and their employees about the local economy, the importance of voting, how to be a smart voter and the effects of voting on creating and saving jobs.

Sonoma County Challenges:

Saving and Creating Jobs

To successfully compete for jobs, local government agencies must have effective economic development policies and programs. Jobs are the backbone of strong communities and the economy.

Economic Competitiveness

To create and save jobs, elected officials must play their part in stimulating the economy by being economically competitive with other regions. Businesses looking to expand or locate in Sonoma County need to work collaboratively with local governments to create a climate that attracts and saves jobs.

Local Governance and Regulatory Environment

To add jobs and become more economically competitive, city and county leaders need to remove barriers such as cost increases and delays imposed by arbitrary and overly complicated regulations. Responsible leaders support effective, balanced ways to achieve both a healthy environment and economy which also helps provide much-needed revenues to their municipalities.

  • The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project is nonpartisan.
  • We do not endorse candidates or ballot measures.
  • We want you to be a smart voter, not tell you how to vote.
