I am a husband, a father of three, a small business owner and an architect as well as a member of the Petaluma City Council. That is the full breadth of experience I bring to the position of Sonoma County Supervisor. Government experience alone is not the answer. Further, I know firsthand that there is nothing more costly to the business community than poor local governance. We need to attract new businesses and jobs to our county. We need to help retain and grow the businesses already here and no one can understand that better than someone who works and owns their own business. I got involved in politics originally to ensure my own children can not only grow up and receive a quality education in our beautiful county, but to eventually have opportunities to start their careers here as well. That remains my goal and as Supervisor, I look forward to working with you to kick-start our economy by getting people back to work.
