The 2010 Election is Over

But Staying Informed Isn't

Jobs and the North Bay's future depend on your vote

Employer's Toolkit

Nationwide exit-polling has indicated that a majority of employees that voted wanted their EMPLOYER to provide them with information on candidates and issues that impact their livelihood and prosperity.  Workers realize that their employer needs to help them by notifying and educating them about how the laws and regulations that impact their business also impact the employees.  While employers should never tell employees how to vote, then can and should provide information on candidates and issues to their workers.  The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project wants to help employers meet their employee's expectations.

Employers are encouraged to share the information found on this website with their employees. Businesses are within their rights to do so - just remember: no coercion, no rewarding or punishing employees (or threatening to do so) for their political beliefs.  Click here for more guidelines on Political Communications to Employees as provided by the California Chamber of Commerce.

What are your first steps? Start a grassroots program at your company to help your employees get registered to vote and to make informed decisions when they mark their ballots!

We can show you how to help without draining your company's resources.  The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project has designed a free and easy-to-use "Election Toolkit" that includes:
