The 2010 Election is Over

But Staying Informed Isn't

Jobs and the North Bay's future depend on your vote

Voting and the Workplace

The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project (NBJPP) seeks to increase civic and economic vitality by assisting employers to encourage their employees to:

BE INFORMED

VOTE ON OR BEFORE ELECTION DAY!

The project will begin by fostering communications between Sonoma County employers and their employees about the local economy, the importance of voting, how to be a smart voter and the effects of voting on creating and saving jobs.

Exit-polling has shown us that a majority of employees that voted wanted their EMPLOYER to provide them with information on candidates and issues that impact their livelihood and prosperity.  Workers realize that their employer needs to help them by notifying and educating them about how the laws and regulations that impact their business also impact the employees.  While employers should never tell employees how to vote, they can and should provide information on candidates and issues to their workers.  The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project wants to help employers meet their employee's expectations.

The North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project is non-partisan.  We do not endorse candidates or ballot measures.

We want you to be a smart voter, not tell you how to vote.

That important decision is up to you!

North Bay Leadership Council, North Coast Builders Exchange, and the Sonoma County Alliance formed the North Bay Jobs & Prosperity Project and welcome you to join us in improving the North Bay’s future.
