What is the Value of a Job?
For every job that is created there are both direct and induced benefits to our community. Depending on the industry type, each job created has the actual effect of creating between 1½ to 4½ additional jobs. As such, when one new job is created in the North Bay, not only is that person spending money locally and paying taxes that would not otherwise be paid, but the other people whose jobs are created by the original job are further infusing monies into the economy.
