We have an opportunity to develop a public/private partnership with a minor league baseball ballpark. It's a unique chance to brand our town in an active, healthy way that caters to the already established family atmosphere that we have. The additional opportunities of the stadium operating as an open air amphitheater/concert venue are endless. Business opportunities could provide many with jobs that are not currently a mainstay in Sonoma County at this point. Recently both the Alliance Medical Center and the Memorial Urgent Care facility have located in Windsor. The supporting businesses that accompany those services could really be broadened so that residents would not have to leave town for various medical services and supplies. This is another chance to expand job growth .
